I've got several tpa3116 amps around my house. one with a set of kef 55.2's, one with some jbl control 1's and a random in ceiling speaker. I use a tda7492 on my monitor audio bx2's and I prefer the tda amp. But only very slightly - it seems to have a bit better bass response. I can hear a small hiss from all of them but only when I put my ear.
